Dear West Meade Members,

I am excited to begin another season as the club manager.  The board has worked very hard to continue to update and improve our facilities, and I believe you will be very pleased on opening day.  The pool is ready as are the tennis courts.  Enjoy the tennis courts and help us protect them by locking the gates as you finish playing.

I am happy to say that we have several returning guards, along with some new faces that you may or may not know yet. Our day camp is set, and Claire Pennington will be our director.  Day Camp is great fun for our younger set!

Kirk Orahood will be returning as our tennis pro and is planning great activities for young and older players alike.  Ellen Simpson will be back as our dive coach and Ashley Hermann and Brittany Pickney will continue as our Piranha swim team coaches.

Our facilities will be sparkling by opening day, and we definitely have some surprises for young and old alike! The Coconut Hut restaurant will be open again with all the old favorites, as well as some new entrees. I think the Hut might be my favorite place to eat! We will plan to have a family dinner night in June and August, as well as our traditional 4th of July celebration!

I look forward to visiting with old friends, but just as exciting is the chance to meet new members. Please know that my staff and I are already hard at work to bring you the very safest and cleanest swim and tennis club in town.

Please watch the web site for information on swim team, dive team, and tennis teams. Each group of coaches already has many activities planned for us to participate in. We truly have successful programs that are tailored to meet as many needs as possible. We will set swim lessons after we open to let the water warm up a smidge for our non-swimmers! We will start our early morning adult swim again this year. It was a huge hit last year, so come join the early risers on Mon., Wed., Friday from 6:30 am until 8:00 am.
